Course Description:
Move beyond single-tooth dentistry and gain the confidence to treat complex restorative cases. This program provides a systematic, “programmed” approach to treatment planning that ensures predictable results, regardless of clinical severity. Participants will master the management of difficult presentations—including extreme occlusal wear, malocclusions, and anterior open bites—with a deep dive into the critical roles of the neutral zone and Vertical Dimension of Occlusion (VDO). Whether utilizing natural dentition, implants, or hybrid reconstructions, you will learn to navigate interdisciplinary decision-making and recognize when orthodontic or surgical intervention is required for long-term stability.
Learning Objectives
Master Complex Planning: Apply the 16 functional and esthetic criteria to the most challenging cases.
Manage VDO: Determine precisely when to open, maintain, or alter the vertical dimension of occlusion.
Coordinate Care: Establish effective protocols for collaborating with orthodontists and surgeons on skeletal problems.
Ensure Precision: Master centric jaw relation records and cross-mounting techniques for predictable outcomes.
Phase with Purpose: Learn to sequence full-mouth reconstructions over months or years with a clear plan.
Restore Function: Implement advanced restorative solutions for extreme wear and functional instability.
