Course Description:
Dr. Tamimi brings a unique understanding of the craniofacial complex, exploring how it interacts not only with itself but with the rest of the human body. This course goes beyond standard radiology to teach you how to derive critical 3D information from your scans. We will explore how anatomy viewed on a CBCT scan provides vital clues to a patient’s overall health. When paired with clinical information, this data becomes integral to developing sound, comprehensive treatment plans. You will learn to manipulate the anatomy to find the diagnostic information necessary for superior patient care.

Dr. Dania Tamimi is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial radiologist (ABOMR) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow). After earning her dental degree from King Saud University, she completed her doctorate (DMSc) and fellowship at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2005. An internationally recognized lecturer and lead author of three major textbooks—including Specialty Imaging: Dental Implants—Dr. Tamimi serves on several editorial boards, such as OOOO and AJO-DO. She currently operates a private radiology practice in Orlando, Florida.
