Perio-procedures for the General Dentists

This will be an intense two day workshop covering many minor periods procedures that general dentists will want to learn. Models will be provided for the exercises along with surgical supplies and equipment as part of the course tuition.
Topics to be discussed include;
Tissue biotypes
Sounding to bone
Active and passive eruption
Soft tissue gingi-plasty
Using a periotome for atraumatic extraction
Pontic site preservation
Grafting techniques
Suturing techniques
Alveo-plasty for crown lengthening
Release of lower frenum for tongue tied
Release of upper frenum attachment for diastema closure
360 degree crown lengthening for ferrule height
Furcation involvement
